Wire Twisting
I discovered the passion when i was in my primary school,in the art class i think.I've been twisting wires ever since then..but only from time to time.
During those times,i would create quite a number of 'em and i love to show them to my family's members cos i am really proud of my art works(who wouldnt?).But now im studying oversea and most of my art work ended up in the drawer...after i've shown 'em to my siblings.
But now i have blog! It would be nice to post them here for everyone to see. Until i found a suitable place to put them in my house the art pieces will have to wait in the drawer..[=)
These are some of them..=)
Carving-watever that can be carve.
The first time ever was when i was carving a solid paper clay into shapes but i soon gave that up because there were too much dust and it breaks easily. Then i started carving a candle wax but it too, didnt last ..for it breaks easily too when i tried to carve a small little details and i dont like how my hands feels after i finished.
Wood-carving was introduced to me by my guardian. He was cutting out branches from a tree and i saw one of the branches...it has a nice shape so i asked him if i could have it..to carve it.
I took my sister's rusty carving sets and started to carve that branch of wood. It was really fun..and realy hand-cramping. Everything when well until the day i went back to my homeland.1 and a half months pass-by..i returned to find that there were mould or fungus or whatever that is, growing on my beatiful branch..i have no choice but to throw it away..T-T oh well....
There was time when i bought a block..of this green thing that they use in making the fake flowers.I made a big mistake in trying to carve it.Turned out it created more dust than the paper clay and ...it was really suck.
Many months have past...i threw away the carving set also(its was dull and rusty and kinda useless).I thought i have given the wood-carving up until i found a small rectangle block of wood in my brother'room. One the block of wood says"happy birthday chanathip!"One of my sister's b'day present which she left behind.Well...you get lucky once in a while.I took my mini cutter(yes cutter knife not carving tools) and i started to carve out of the small rectangle block of wood.
So far this is what it looks like
Moulding clay
This is one of my all-time favorite..moulding.It all started when i got bored and started to roll all the eraser dusts together to form a tiny ball.It was fun to squeeze it and moulding it into shapes. After that everyday i would collect all the eraser dusts and mould them together..soon i have enough to make any shapes that i want.
For quite a long period of time, almost everyday i sat down at the table and played with the lump of eraser dust. I was good at it.But the eraser dust didnt last long. One day my elderest sister thought that it was really disgusting to mould the eraser dust(greyish-black in colour) and she introduced me to paper-clay.
Paper-clay required water in the process if not it would harden and became unuseable. Not long after she had introduce me to paper clay ,i was good but not great. I was very interested in clay..and got abit carried away.I cant remembered when it was but i remembered i bought this special kind of like wood dust thing but when you mixed it with water it will stick together so you can mould it. after a while i was bored and i never touches it again..
so continuing on with the paper-clay.i've mould many stuffs out of it, some of them which i gave out to friends as their birthday presents(hope they appreciated my works..cos i always put in extra-effort to make the best out of every presents that i give away)and most of them which i put on display at home.i am also moulding jum ping clay and sculpey clay=)
Here is one of them the paper clay:
This is supposed to be a lion.its wearing a mask and has a tiny horn, the tail kind of resemble fire.inspired from the japanese anime..
i'll upload some more other day .=D
